ITT host "Colleges and Communities 2011"

The Institute of Technology Tallaght host their first "Colleges and Communities Symposium" which is scheduled for Tuesday 10 May 2011 from 2-5pm.

It is hoped that this event will provide an opportunity for staff, students, and members of the community to share their experiences of collaboration on a variety of activities and projects. The aim of the symposium is to provide an environment and platform for enhancing dialogue between colleges and communities and to encourage wider participation in higher education. It will provide opportunities both to learn from other HEI/Community Initiatives and to share some of ITT Dublin's experiences. The Institute is delighted to welcome presentations from local community groups and colleagues from DIT and NUIG. This initiative is part funded by the DRHEA Widening Participation project.
